Vintage Bargains Galore!
The first fair of 2017 is the Vintage Jumble in Northampton on 14th January. There is always a great line-up of stalls at the Jumble, with lots of homewares and textiles and there are always lots of bargains waiting to found. However if January seems a long time to wait catch is in Olney on 10th Decemebr for what will be our last fair before Xmas.
Find Us In The Chuch Hall In Olney
There will be some lovely stalls along with four new vintage traders who will be joining us for the first time inside the pretty Church Hall. The dates for 2017 will be published once the Olney Fair has taken place (and before I close down for Xmas!).
A Small Detail From Everly Vintage At Heart Of Shires
There were some lovely stalls when the fair made it's first visit to Heart of the Shires near Weedon in Northamptonshire in early October. I was very pleased with the quality of the items on display and we bought lots of goodies as well ad managing to sell a few things too.
These Birds Soon Flew Away
The Saturday at Heart of the Shires was particularly busy and this poster of birds we took along was spotted early!
Macmillan Prints From Decurio
We found a pack of educational posters from the 1960s at Heart of the Shires, they were brought along by Kris of Decurio (who it was great to see after so long).
A Box Fit For Dogs
The old box was lined with French wallpaper a long time ago and is now home to a bunch of vintage dogs.
A Trio Of Trivets
We finally found another French enamel trivet to accompany the two turquoise ones we found at the Stamford Fair years ago, the blue one was a find at Heart of the Shires courtesy of Escargot Vert.
Blueberry Patch At The Stratford Fair
In November we returned to the Town Hall in Stratford and enjoyed a busy day, I did several tours around the busy streets with a sandwich board!
Vintage Glass Baubles
These lovely old baubles were on one of the stalls at Stratford.
Retro Furniture At The Stratford Fair
I have seen lots of old mahogany corner cupboards but never one from the 1950s/60s so was pleased to see this one at Stratford, it was brought along by Lisa Loves Vintage.
More Vintage Baubles
I found this toy pram full of glass baubles at the Northampton Fair at the end of November, many thanks to Debbie of Vintage Wants for bringing them along.
This Year's Advent Calendar
I found this Advent Calendar at the Northampton Fair and it only cost £1! It is just like the ones we used to have when I was young (which is about right as this was on sale in one of the stall holder's parent's shop during the 1970s).
